Having identified primary caregivers to children, most of the children who are cared by poor widows are at risk from access to child rights like education, better health and proper parenting. Therefore NAATA Foundation identifies such poor primary caregivers mostly WIDOWS with poor economic status, organizes them into groups, trains them with financial literacy, encourage them to form Income Generating groups (IGA) in form of Savings and Loans Associations (SLAs) so that are empowered to take care of their children in a manner that sustainable and future oriented even post to funding supports .Other packages provided by NAATA to such WIDOWs include:-

  • Proper parenting skills education
  • Financial literacy
  • Saving and Loans management
  • Saving groups registration Support
  • Networking Widow savings groups
  • General life skills education

NAATA identifies friendly business to each area where group of selected poor widows resides then support them to prepare budget for seed money support from stakeholders .Seed money (capital for group business ranges from $ 1000 to $ 5000 based on nature of the business choice and capacity to run respective business .
